CHERISH CHERISH CHERISH

It's me, it's me, it's me, your lovely cgl. haha... after such a long day, i'm still here blogging. Guess your leader is really a night owl! Today has been such a packed day...

morn: prepare for cgm
130 to 330: cgm (ya, agnes. i overshot again. haha! but cgm was great today! the presence of God! =D)
4 to 6pm: GB award ceremony. (cabbed to hougang. yes, paya lebar methodist girl is not at paya lebar. haha)
7 to 830pm: tuition with dearest ah man da!!!
9 to 11pm: meet up with sec friends. (one of my friends is leaving shanghai for a year for a work assignment!)

in between the slots were calls, smses and doing EW admin.

but a shocking news came to me at the end of day.

I met my mum on my way home. She just came back from a funeral. Her cousin, my uncle just passed away this morn. I was shocked! He was a distant relative and after my mum's description of who he is, i rem him. He is the uncle who drove bus 123 around my place. i would rem times when my family would board the bus to go TBP for weekend dinner. He would always welcome us with a big wide smile and say, " no need to pay bus fare la!" in chinese. That is the only thing i know about him. Found out from my mum that he died of heart attack. He was a great father. His eldest son who is only 18 and still schooling, is married and has a son. Being a loving father, he worked day and night for the family. AND i really mean night and day! He would take the morning shift (started at 5 plus in e morn).... rested during the lunch break and continued the other shift till midnight! He slaved so much so that his family could have a good life.... so that his son can continue to study.

Though i felt real sad when i heard of this, it will remind me of a simple but yet important fact!

Do you know that you have a special ability to connect with new friends? Cos you are always so happy-go-lucky, friendly and cheerful! That doesn't mean you dun have any prob BUT..... your pure heart and sweet spirit just overcome everything! =)

Service With Benny Hinn..

Dear Cell Group Members! Benny Hinn Service is indeed power and impactful.

During Friday, Pastor Taught us Healing is for All, Healing is not for some. If you read the bible Carefully, wherever Jesus went, he healed the sick and is Healed them ALL. I believe our church is already moving into another Level, Healing and Salvation are Twins, Jesus body has died for us on the cross so that all sins (except Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit) can be Forgiven, and on his Back, the stripes on him which can heal us physically. One is on the Front of the Cross, and another back of the Cross.

I receive the touch of God, but i'm not satisfy if it's just a touch, i wan the anointing to stay and impact me forever. I'm in love with Jesus even more, even even more.

On saturday, Pastor Benny sense the flow of God moving a different way, and he focus on impartation of Anointing. The Anointing is Just as Pastor said, Double Portion! Presense of God is so Strong that even our New friend Fall UNDER the power! After Service, the Atmosphere is so thick, i don't bear to leave and i can clearly hear God saying "I'm Not Done With You". I continue to sit down, worship and pray.. The Atmosphere is so Strong that i actually teared. I really wan to encourage all to seek after Him more and more, for in and only in His presense, Peace, Joy , Hope and Love is dwell in us, God uses his presense and u know why?? Because HE HIMSELF WANTED TO SENSE and TOUCH US more than we Do. Thanks God, for he is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Pastor Kong get hold the anointing and Blessed the Choir... Everyone falled and was filled will Holy Laughter.

LAST DAY ---
Haha! so wonderful my Grandma came for the Service with my maid too. Though Granny wasn't Heal Instantly, i know that the Power of God is doing something. God just has his own plans. At first i was troubled by that, but thanks Siew and Yang to open my mind. I always want to know how come the whole Choir Fall under the presense of God, Possible meh?? tell u what, Go and join the next choir of Benny Hinn Service and you'll know why =) i really really really wanted to go to israel to sing for God. Oh yea how can i miss the China Part. See ?? the Kingdom has surely come upon China, WOW! I'm really impacted by what another Pastor say. These People don't have what we have. But surely they Love God like All of us Do. THey LOVE GOD in difficult Cirumstances. Can you see the Hunger they have? Seeking God illegally.. I promise to Pastor to Prayed for China everyday, so don't let us Break it K? very very soon, we'll hear the Good News from China. God has called us a center of Healing. AMEN AMEN! can't stop shouting Hallelujah!!

First Impression

Hey guys,

Just came back from my GB meeting. Taught my girls from our children church material (DreamFactory) how to have a good first impression. Thought could share with u guys as well.

How to welcome new friends, we need to FIRST

1) Be Friendly


2) Be Initiative
= taking the first step without being told to do so
= sometimes, we are like supermarket trolley. We only move when we are pushed.

3) Respect them
= story of Noah and his three sons (Genesis 9:22-25)
= one day, he was found drunk and naked
= one of his sons broadcasted it to everyone while the other two sons covered his nakedness.
= Noah blessed the two sons but cursed the other.
= No one is perfect. We must learn to respect everyone though they are different from us. Then we will be blessed!

4) Serve them
= Jesus is the greatest Servant of all. He washed His disciples' feet!
= Matthew 20:26
Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

5) Touch their lives
= Are your friends' lives different after they know you?
= story of the good Samaritan.
= Luke 10:30-36

Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Hey ppl! Hope everyone's been doing well this wk! Was meditating on this verse below but couldn't comprehend why childhood and youth are vanity until I read through several versions... found the New Living Translation version really cool...check this out:

My thoughts:
Indeed like wad the bible says "it's wonderful to be young!" Let's not say to ourselves that we aren't able to do this and that! We have a whole life ahead of us; leave all the failures and defeats behind and keep walking! God wants us to walk in greatness and victory! Let's continue to have the joy of the Lord and walk in greater faith *stop worrying*! - Vanessa
