Youth Arise!

Hey ppl! Hope everyone's been doing well this wk! Was meditating on this verse below but couldn't comprehend why childhood and youth are vanity until I read through several versions... found the New Living Translation version really cool...check this out:

Ecclesiastes 11:9-10 (New King James Version)

Seek God in Early Life
9 Rejoice, O young man, in your youth,
And let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth;
Walk in the ways of your heart,
And in the sight of your eyes;
But know that for all these
God will bring you into judgment.
10 Therefore remove sorrow from your heart,
And put away evil from your flesh,
For childhood and youth are vanity.

Ecclesiastes 11:9-10 (New Living Translation)

9 Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do. 10 So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless.

My thoughts:
Indeed like wad the bible says "it's wonderful to be young!" Let's not say to ourselves that we aren't able to do this and that! We have a whole life ahead of us; leave all the failures and defeats behind and keep walking! God wants us to walk in greatness and victory! Let's continue to have the joy of the Lord and walk in greater faith *stop worrying*! - Vanessa
